the creators of karthikeya are back with another movie with an interesting title, bham bholenath. Starring Navdeep, Naveen Chandra and Pradeep Machiraju, this movie has hit the screens today. let’s see how it is.
history:-
The story of the film describes the individual life of two young people played by navdeep and naveen chandra. each of them has their own problems and needs money to get out of it. they try different things but fail with every try.
Not giving up hope, each of them plans a grand heist and somehow pulls it off. The twist in the story comes when a drug addict played by Pradeep Machiraju enters his life and creates havoc.
The rest of the story is about how all the confusion is cleared up and how they successfully get out of this mess.
positive points:-
The premise chosen for the film is good. the filmmakers managed to conjure up interesting twists for most of the film. navdeep is decent in his role as an unemployed young man and portrays her character with a lot of conviction. naveen chandra looks fit and offers solid performance.
The situational comedy shown in the film is good. Comedians Praveen and Naveen are very good in their respective roles and bring a lot of comic relief to the film. comedy episodes with posani and fish venkat have also been executed well.
interval bang and all the scenes of confusion after the interval are interesting. pooja jhaveri looks good and skillfully supports the rest of the cast. pradeep machiraju carries off a complete character well and has some interesting scenes in the movie.
negative points:-
The first 15 minutes of the movie are quite slow as not much happens during this time. after setting up the post-interval scenes quite interestingly, the movie loses steam during the climax. even though the climax has some enticing moments, it has dragged on too long. unnecessary comedy and illogical scenes make the movie feel out of place.
Some scenes in the second half lack clarity. the character of the don and all the comedy that surrounds him becomes irritating at the end. bham bholenath mainly suffers from good scripting and poor execution.
technical aspects:-
sai karthik’s music is good and so is his background score. the dialogues are apt and suit the mood of the film. the script is interesting as all the robbery scenes have been shown well. the editing is below par, as most of the climax could have been removed.
director karthik varma makes a good debut. If he could have executed the climax without overdoing it too much, the result would have been much better.
verdict:-
Overall, bham bholenath has some engaging moments. the interesting setting and the situational comedy are basic positive points. on the other hand, a prolonged and illogical climax spoils the fun. viewers who like to watch police comedies may like it, but the rest can try it if they have absolutely nothing else to do.
