Chinnadana nee kosam movie review

Chinnadana-Nee-Kosam-(1) Release date : Dec 25, 2014 Rating : 3/5 Director : A. Karunakaran Producer : N. Sudhakar Reddy, Nikita Reddy Music Director : Anoop Rubens Starring: Nithiin, Mishti

Young hero Nithin, is on a all time career high with back to back hits. His latest project is the romantic entertainer Chinnadana Neekosam which is directed by Karunakaran. Also starring Mishti Chakraborthy as the female lead, this film has hit the screens today. Let’s see how it is.

nithin(nithin) is a handsome young man who falls in love with nandini(mishti). he follows her and becomes good friends with her in due time with her. When his family approves of his choice, Nandini gives him a big surprise and goes to her house in Europe.

what will nithin do now? why did nandini abandon him? Will Nithin be able to win back her love? To know the answers to all these questions, you need to see the movie on the big screen.

positive points:-

the main point in favor of the film is the hero himself. Roles like these are a doddle for him, and he makes a huge impression in every department. he is excellent in his dances and has shown decent emotions in the second half. mishti makes an impressive debut. he looks good in both indian and western looks and plays the important role of her quite convincingly.

The first half of the movie is quite entertaining and has a good dose of comedy. the songs, scenes, and comedy shown during this part have been exceptionally well designed. the length of the movie is sharp and the filmmakers made sure the movie was pretty simple and neat. Naresh and Nasser play their respective roles well.

negative points:-

After such an entertaining first half, the pace in the second half drops drastically. the first 20 minutes of the second half are boring and have outdated comedy. the gay episode shown during this time is quite irritating. the concept and focus of the hero in the second half lacks clarity. ali’s comedy track doesn’t create much fun.

The climax of the movie is pretty cliche and all the scenes that build up to the climax are just rushed. the ending is a bit abrupt and like any other love story, this movie is pretty predictable once the twist is revealed.

technical aspects:-

The music of the film is a big plus and all the songs have been well shot. the camera work on the film is quite good, and all of the outdoor locations have been showcased very well. the dialogues are good and so is the background score. the film’s editing is decent in the first half, but the second half seems a bit disconnected.

The script of the film is quite good, since certain logics are missing in the film. Even with this movie, Karunakaran has stuck to his formula of typical love stories and has made this movie in a very safe zone.

With chinnadana neekosam, it proves once again that love stories are fit for nithin. its interpretation, songs and an entertaining first part are basic points in favor. on the other hand, the lack of sufficient emotions and a predictable second half ruin the flow of the film. Finally, all those who don’t mind routine love stories and want to see an artist hang out this festive season, this movie is a decent choice. rating: 3/5 reviewed by 123telugu team
