jump-jilani-rev Release date : June 12, 2014 123telugu.com Rating : 2.5/5 Director : E Satti Babu Producer : Ambika Raju Music Director : Vijay Ebenezer Starring : Allari Naresh, Isha Chawla, Swathi Deekhit

Comedy King Allari Naresh, has been struggling without a proper hit from quite a while. He is now back with yet another comedy entertainer in Jump Jilani. Directed by E Sattibabu, this film has Naresh in a double role. Isha Chawla and Swati Dixit are the female leads in this film, which has released today. Let’s see whether Jump Jilani gives Naresh a much needed hit.

history:-

sattiababu (allari naresh) is a young hotel owner in nidadavole, struggling to keep his ancestral hotel from closing.

To prevent his hotel from closing, he decides to lure in Madhavi (isha chawla), a health inspector, with the help of his twin brother ram babu (allari naresh).

even madhavi is impressed with sattibabu’s sincerity and falls in love with him. The twist in the story comes when Madhavi’s (Ms Narayana) grandfather engages her with Ugra Narasimha Reddy (Posani Krishna Murali), a powerful faction leader in Pulivendala.

what will sattibabu do now? Will she go to faction areas to win her love? What’s wrong with her hotel? how will the brothers get him out of trouble? To get answers to all these questions, you need to watch the movie on the big screen

positive points:-

Unsurprisingly, Allari Naresh also gives his best in this movie. the way she treats both of her characters looks honest on screen. without a doubt, the biggest point in favor of the film is posani krishna murali.

It is his role that gives the film a break. although he enters alone in the second period, she makes the most of it. both heroines look equally good and play their roles beautifully.

A fun chase involving all the comedians for the second half has been well crafted. tagubothu ramesh, jaya prakash reddy, and raghu babu do their best in their roles.

The second half of the movie is where the real action kicks in and keeps things interesting. the way the story has been designed and some funny situations is quite good.

negative points:-

The entire first half of the movie is too slow. the original entertainment takes forever to start, and one has to go through the tedious first half to start enjoying this movie.

The pace of the movie and the unnecessary scenes spoil the fun completely. even a seasoned actor like naresh seems out of place due to the routine and stale comedy. he’s the only anchor in the film, but even he carries the added burden of two roles.

the movie has another seema backdrop, which is getting pretty stale in movies these days. the only difference here is that instead of jaya prakash reddy you get to see posnai krishna murali in a lead role.

Whatever you see in trailers, that’s also the only fun you see in theaters. the length of the movie is too long and it takes forever to finish.

the climax gets confusing with too many characters going in and out of the movie. an unnecessary song comes out of nowhere at the climax and makes things even worse.

technical aspects:-

The music in the film is decent, and all the songs have been performed and filmed quite well. the camera work is very good and it shows the rural areas of nidudavolu in good light.

The script of the film is quite cliché, as several important scenes have been repeated from some successful films of yesteryear. the creators could have easily parted ways with many routine comedy scenes in the first half.

although director e sattibabu chose to remake a tamil hit, he took a big risk by casting naresh in two roles. Although Naresh does well in both roles, she lacks the necessary padding that other comedians usually provide.

those actors shown and comedy designed, are quite old and now cause a lot of laughs. somehow the director didn’t hold the film tight and made it too elastic.

the dialogues written for naresh are quite good and he has pronounced them well too. the editing is pretty good, as is the background score.

verdict:-

Overall, jump jilani is a movie that is all over the place. Routine comedy, stale performances and excessive length spoil the fun in this tried and tested formula. those who like allari naresh and love to watch over the top routine entertainment can give this movie a try.
