Merise merise movie review

fame hushaaru dinesh tej and young actress shweta awasthi-starrer romantic drama ‘merise merise’ released today. take a look at this review and find out what the movie is like.

history:

sidhu (dinesh tej) launches a startup without success. after this failure, he leaves the dreams of him and wanders aimlessly. Vennela (shweta awasthi) is interested in fashion design and struggles to achieve something in life without anyone’s support. How did these two paths cross? how did they fight? how did they finally fall in love? you must see the movie on the big screen to get the rest of the story.

positive points:

Designed as an emotional romantic entertainer, the main point of merisé merisé is impressive. director pawan kumar nicely portrays the turmoil of 20-year-olds. the journey of such a young couple has been represented quite well.

Hero dinesh tej impresses with his realistic acting and the boy next door looks and suits his character well. the heroine shweta awasthi also gives an excellent performance. In addition to the love scenes, she also impresses with her acting in the emotional scenes.

The actor who played the hero’s father and the actress who played the heroine’s friend are also pretty good at their characters. the rest of the actors also did justice to their characters.

negative points:

While choosing a good story that explores the success, failure and confusion of young people, director pawan kumar could not come up with compelling scenes to keep the audience intrigued. especially, some illogical scenes between the hero and heroine and the slow narration have damaged the overall result of the film.

Especially, the scenes that come in the second half fail to impress. in addition to these, the characterizations of the hero and heroine are unnecessarily dramatic. the movie would have been better if it had shown how the lead actors defied the odds to win their love.

technical aspects:

director pawan kumar chooses a good concept, but ultimately ends up with a lackluster exit with a slow-paced script. nagesh banell’s camera work is impressive. the music doesn’t have much of an impact on the narrative. the editor could have made the film sharper. Producer Venkatesh Kothuri spent well on the film and the impressive production values are visible on screen.

verdict:

merise merise has elements of love, comedy and emotions. the movie has some emotional and enjoyable scenes that impress the audience. however, while the concept is good, there aren’t enough interesting scenes to make a compelling watch. especially, the hero-heroine track was treated in a dramatic way. overall, while the movie may impress family audiences to some extent, it may disappoint others.
