Rangam 2 telugu movie review

Video Rangam 2 telugu movie review

After the release of shiva kartikeyan rowing today, another tamil dubbed movie, rangam 2 has also seen its release. Now let’s see how the movie turns out.

history:-

chandu(jiva) is a happy and lucky boy who lives in mumbai together with his grandmother. As time goes on, he falls in love with Srela (Tulasi Nair), but their relationship is strictly objected to by Srela’s father (Nasser).

With no other choice, chandu decides to go to a gulf country, earn some money and settle down. As soon as he lands there, they arrest him on a drug case and put him in jail.

Who is behind his arrest? How will chandoo get out of there and get her love back? that forms the rest of the story.

positive points:-

The way the movie takes place in a gulf country and the way the hero gets stuck is quite interesting. the opening sequence of the film and the way the main couple falls in love have been shown well.

The time-lapse turning is also another advantage of this film. jiva does a decent job of playing her and tries hard to carry the film on her shoulders. Tulasi Nair gives a very good performance in the movie.

nasser is effective in his role, as is jaya prakash. the comedy shown with the main couple is decent in places.

negative points:-

While the backdrop and story are decent, the film’s narrative, for the most part, is pretty bad. except for the interval explosion, the film wanders here and there and kills time with some unnecessary scenes. the length of the movie is too long and it takes forever to finish.

There is no basic emotion in the process, which is another big drawback. Logic goes for a great pitch, especially during the second half. Harris Jayraj’s music irritates the audience to the core and disrupts the flow of the film in a big way.

technical aspects:-

the film can only be seen thanks to the excellent camera work of manush nandan. the way you have displayed the foreign images is top notch. the editing is pathetic and so was the background score. coming to director ravi k chandran, his thought process is very good, but the way he narrates the movie is very disappointing. the directing of him is very crude as he failed to generate any excitement and emotion from the proceedings.

verdict:-

The makers of this movie planned things so cleverly that they marketed it as the sequel to rangam and even called it rangam 2. but sadly the movie is not a sequel nor does it live up to rangam. Except for some stunning visuals, this movie is half-hearted action entertainment that doesn’t entertain at all.
