Fir telugu movie review

Video Fir telugu movie review

after ratsasan, vishnu vishal is back with another police thriller, fir. Directed by newcomer Manu Anand, the film hit the screens today. let’s see how it is.

history:

irfan ahmed (vishnu vishal) leads a peaceful life with his mother, a policewoman. he works in a laboratory as a chemical engineer. Meanwhile, Nia, with Ajay Dewan (Gautham Vasudev Menon) as National Security Advisor, is on the hunt for the most wanted terrorist, Abu Bakkar Abdullah. The team receives a tip about the criminal and suspects that irfan is the terrorist. They arrest Irfan and begin an interrogation after his involvement in a massive bomb blast. Is irfan the most wanted terrorist? what happened after? to know everything, you have to look on the big screens first.

positive points:

The story itself is a great asset to the film. vishnu vishal nails her character, especially in emotional scenes. she is a custom made character for gautham vasudev menon. she gives her best as a nia officer. manjima mohan as a defender plays a decent role. Raiza Wilson and Reba Monica John give their best.

The spicy script in the second half and the excellent background music make the police thriller intriguing. the action sequences that come in the second half make you enjoy the movie. the director directs the film with a gripping script and reveals the twist neatly.

negative points:

The film develops on a slow note at the beginning and takes time to reveal the main plot. the cinematography could have been better. In this type of thriller, the story could have been more interesting with more twists and turns.

It seems that the team does not focus much on visual effects. manjima is limited to just a few scenes, and to our surprise, the other female leads have better screen presence than her. Although the film is a police thriller, the audience expects some scenes of comedy and love, which fir lack.

technical aspects:

director manu anand, who previously worked as an assistant director on many gvm movies, makes a decent debut with fir. he executed the movie in a good way. ashwith offers the best music that helps elevate many scenes. arul vincent’s camera work is fine. production values are good and prasanna’s editing is fine.

verdict:

Overall, fir is a decent police thriller that makes you enjoy yourself more in the second half. Vishnu Vishal’s performance and music are the assets of this movie. the all-out action thriller can’t please all sections of the audience. so if you are a big fan of thrillers. try it.
