Vinavayya ramayya movie review

another child artist, naga anvesh, makes his film debut with vinavayya ramayya. this youth entertainer has hit the screens today. let’s see how he is.

history:-

the film is based on a town called veerayya palem. Chanti (Nag Anvesh) is a careless young man who falls in love with his childhood friend Janaki (Kritika). One fine day, he reveals his love for her, but to her surprise, Janaki flatly rejects him.

This rejection causes a huge tear in chanti’s heart. Seeing her horrible condition, Chanti’s friends kidnap Janaki from her wedding, which is arranged by her father Chowdary (Prakash Raj). what will chanty do now? How will you solve this delicate situation? Will she get her love in the end? that forms the rest of the story.

positive points:-

naga anvesh makes an impressive debut with vinavayya ramayya. This young debutante has a lot of fluency in acting and is quite good with his dances. his comedic timing is decent and he looks comfortable on screen. As he has already made movies when he was a child artist, he has a good command of dialogue delivery.

drishyam fame kritika is decent as a full-fledged heroine, she looks beautiful in Indian attire and has done a good job in her role. Prakash Raj is impressive in a major role. brahmanandam manages to elicit decent laughs like patel pahelvan.

other minor characters played by ali, shakalaka shankar and jabardasth seenu work well as friends of the hero. while the first half has some interesting comedy, the second half has good family sentiments. the visuals are pretty good in the movie.

negative points:-

One of the biggest drawbacks of the film is the routine plot. scripts like these have been covered many times before. there is nothing new that the public can expect in this film. certain songs have been placed in the wrong areas. the narration is a bit slow as the film enters its real story only during the second half.

The love story between the main couple lacks clarity and hasn’t been elevated much. the second half has a good scope for entertainment, but the creators have missed it. the way certain characters do their transformation during the climax seems rushed.

technical aspects:-

vinavayya ramayya is quite strong in the technical department. Rasool Lore’s camera work is exceptional as each frame looks colourful. the way he has shown the main couple is also impressive. Anup Ruben’s music is decent, but it’s his background soundtrack that takes the film to another level. praveen pudi’s editing is fine, but it could have been even better if he had cut some scenes.

The written dialogue is impressive and so is the art direction. Coming to director ram prasad, he has done a decent job. even though he chooses a routine script, the way he has extracted the main couple’s performances is good. however, she should have written a better script to further elevate the movie.

verdict:-

Overall, vinavayya ramayya marks a decent debut for naga anvesh. his impressive acting, entertainment factor, and certain familiar thrills are staple assets. If you ignore the routine plot and predictable nature of the script, you can give this movie a chance for its typical commercial elements.
