Dil Raju’s nephew, Ashish Reddy, is making his movie debut with Rowdy Boys. The movie has hit the screens today and let’s see how it goes.

history:

akash (ashish) is a carefree college engineering student who falls in love with a doctor named kavya (anupama parameshwaran). after a while even kavya starts to love akash. Unfortunately, the rivalry between Akash University with the other creates problems in the love story. Left with no other choice, both Akash and Kavya make crucial decisions in their lives. what happened after? Does Kavia become a doctor as she wished? What did akash do for her love? to find out the rest, you need to watch the movie on the big screen.

positive points:

Dil Raju’s nephew, Ashish Reddy makes a decent debut with the rowdy boys. he acted like an established actor and his dancing skills are also very good. the other male lead, sahidev vikram, did justice to his role. actress anupama parameshwaran is as beautiful as ever and fans of her will go crazy over her for sure.

The scenes between the main couple worked well. the comedy starring the hero’s sidekicks is pretty good. a couple of songs are excellent in terms of music and visuals. the beautiful background score and rich visuals are an added bonus.

negative points:

There isn’t much to talk about the story as rowdy boys has a well known plot that we have seen in various movies over the years. anupama looks good, but she doesn’t have much scope to show off her acting skills.

Unlike the first half, the story in the second half was bland. some scenes between the main couple will remind you of many successful movies. also, some illogical scenes, some exaggerated comedy leads are a big drawback for the movie.

technical aspects:

The production values of the film are quite good as dil raju and sirish have been well spent on the visuals. cinematographer madhie showed the rich and beautiful images of tamil nadu in a beautiful way. Devi Sri Prasad’s songs and background score are decent. madhu’s edit is also good.

referring to the director shurha konuganti, he has done a good job with the film. As his plot doesn’t have much to show, he handled the debutante well in his first film.

verdict:

Overall, rowdy boys is a college drama without a lot of twists and turns. ashish reddy makes a decent debut and the first half is good. but a dull second half and lack of a solid story is a drawback. young people can connect with the film as it offers relatable elements. just walk in with low expectations and enjoy this college romance.
