Set 25 years after the original Woodsboro murders, a new ghost is in town killing teenagers, and Sidney Prescott must return to uncover the truth. Neve Campbell is actually reprising her role. Even Courteney Cox and David Arquette are back as Gale Weathers and Dewey Riley, which means the nostalgia is sure to be off the charts in Scream 5. In fact, early reviews of this latest installment are absolutely terrific.

In addition to the original trio (Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox and David Arquette) from the previous films, the cast is rounded out by Marley Shelton as Judy Hicks and Roger L Jackson as the voice of Ghostface. Keeping in mind that Paramount is distributing the New Scream in the US, it will likely be added to the company’s Paramount+ streaming service. It hasn’t announced any details about the film’s streaming debut yet, but scream is expected to join the service this year. The studio previously said that new films would premiere on Paramount+ as soon as 30 days after their theatrical release. however, as of March 2, 2022, scream(2022) will not be available. paramount+ costs $5/month on the ad-supported tier or $10/month without ads.
paramount+ has yet to launch in the uk, but will launch in early 2022 thanks to a deal between viacomcbs networks international and comcast’s sky, which will see the streaming platform reach the uk and other european territories. when it arrives, maybe scream 5 will be included in the catalog of launch movies. pocket-lint will be sure to update this guide when international streaming options are confirmed.
