When is the Percy Jackson and the Olympians release date?
Unfortunately, it looks like we have a long wait before Percy Jackson and the Olympians hit Disney+. The show was initially scheduled to come out sometime in 2023. Filming has already started, but Rick Riordan has now taken to his website to reveal that the series likely won’t debut until early 2024.
In a statement, Rick explained: “It will probably take us until December or until January to shoot all the episodes of the first season, which is about a month of filming per episode (eight episodes total). That means post-production. It will start in early 2023, when the pieces are assembled, edited and augmented with all the special effects and sound, this process also takes months and months, and that’s not counting subtitles, subtitles and dubbing into other languages for our international viewers. that takes another army of people to pull it off.”
continued: “Given all of this, I think the most likely air date will be early 2024. Again, just a guess on my part.
