Watching all the marvel movies in chronological order might sound pretty easy, after all, the timeline doesn’t jump as much as in the star wars movies, but don’t forget that if you accept this challenge, you’re committing yourself! to see a whopping 29 movies! and that is if you can finish before black panther: wakana forever comes out.

From Captain America: The First Avenger to Thor: Love and Thunder, the MCU’s timeline is wide and with new Marvel movies coming out every year, it’s only going to get bigger. If you haven’t enjoyed watching all the Marvel movies in chronological order yet, we suggest you start because it will only get harder from now on.

That said, there’s a lot to be gained by watching each Marvel movie in chronological order. You get to see the superheroes we know and love grow from shallow businessmen, skinny kids, and immature young gods to the Avengers and beyond. you experience their ups and downs along with them, and gain a better understanding of everything they’re dealing with at the same time (FYI, doctor strange has had a rough couple of years).

1. captain america: the first avenger

Furthermore, it was the first Marvel movie in which one of the main characters of it lost his age using impressive CGI so that a young Nick Fury could kick some butt alongside one of the most powerful superheroes in the franchise.

5. the incredible hulk
