Reports say pregnant pop star Janet Jackson has experienced a Muslim conversion since she married mysterious Qatari-born, London-based Muslim billionaire Wissam Al-Mana, nine years her junior, in 2012.
Janet, the youngest sister of the late Michael Jackson, was known for her skimpy outfits.
Recently, however, the 50-year-old was photographed strolling down a London street in a veiled robe – what a change for the woman who launched her solo career in 1993 with a rolling stone cover photo that is still considered one of the sexiest in the magazine.
According to a source, “when she visits Wissam’s family in the Middle East, she wears no makeup, no hair extensions, and keeps to traditional Muslim clothing.”
“You feel you have found a home with your new religion. she has spent a lot of time studying it.” added the source. “The days of raunchy dance moves and sexual lyrics are long gone.”
But aside from Janet, who is reportedly “totally in love” with her husband (they’re expecting their first child together), there are a handful of almost equally famous people in show business who have reportedly become Muslim.
