srirastu subhamastu’s trailers have impressed everyone. this movie that has been released today is quite crucial for allu sirish’s career. Let’s see if this young megahero impresses us and gets the much needed success from him or not.

history:-

sirish(allu sirish) belongs to a wealthy family headed by prakash raj. Things in his family are turned upside down when Srirish’s brother loves and marries a middle-class girl against his father’s will.

In this critical situation, Sirish falls in love with another middle-class girl named Anu (Lavanya) and reveals this to her father. an upset prakash raj, gives her some advice and asks her to leave the relationship.

an unyielding man, he defies his father that he will win his love by not using his last name. In this process, he courts Anu and just when things start to get positive, Anu’s father (Rao Ramesh) arranges his marriage to someone else.

the rest of the story is how sirish manages to convince both anu’s parents and his own and finally emerges victorious.

positive points:-

One of the film’s greatest assets is the good nature of the story. Even though the film has a routine premise and predictable storyline, the way the proceedings are narrated keeps things entertaining. the movie is packed with romance, family thrills and comedy in the right doses and provides the audience with decent entertainment. interval burst is very good.

This is probably the best acting and looking allu sirish to date. It has cleverly played to its strengths and it goes with the mood of the film, which is quite good. sirish’s acting in crucial scenes is decent and his hard work shows on screen. the first half of the movie has romantic moments and the second half is full of memorable family elements.

once again, lavanya tripathi lands a meaty role and impresses in a big way. its homey look and emotional character works quite well and is one of the highlights. rao ramesh is amazing as the caring father and his dialogues and chemistry with lavanya is endearing. After a long interval Ali gets a funny role and all the scenes of him with Subba Raju are just funny.

negative points:-

As said before, the plot of the movie is very old and it doesn’t have anything interesting to offer. Prakash Raj’s character is diluted at the end, as the main actor doesn’t have much to do in the film except the climax.

While the climax is good, it feels like it’s over in a hurry. a veteran actress like sumalatha should have been given more prominence in the film.

technical aspects:-

geetha arts production values are top notch and they haven’t stopped making this movie look rich. thaman’s music is quite nice and goes with the mood of the movie. the editing is top notch as the makers have cleverly packaged the movie in a neat manner. the written dialogues are very good and the art direction too.

referring to the director parasuram, he has done an excellent job with the film. after having a predictable story, the way he narrated the film with ample entertainment and good doses of emotions shows his talent. he also earns extra points for extracting a good sirish performance and displaying it in a very decent way.

verdict:

srirastu subhamstu will surely be the much needed success allu sirish is looking for in his career. if he chooses interesting scripts like these, he will go a long way in tollywood. strong performances, entertaining comedy, and heartwarming family thrills throughout the film are staple assets. if you go in with an open mind and ignore the predictability of the script, this movie will not disappoint you at all. a simple and cheerful watch.
