Video Subramanyam for sale movie review

after the ramaiyya vastavaiyya debacle, harish shankar is back to prove a point with subramanyam for sale. Starring Sai Dharam Tej and Regina, this family entertainer has hit screens after a huge round of promotions. let’s see how it turns out.

history:-

subramanyam(sai dharam tej) is a young man worried about money who goes to the united states to earn a lot of money. One fine day, he meets Seetha (Regina) who is leaving her family for her lifelong boyfriend. As time goes by, Seetha gets cheated on by her boyfriend in a big way and gets stranded in the US.

Unsurprisingly, Subramanyam comes to Seetha’s rescue and solves all her problems. The twist in the story comes when Seetha asks Subramanyam to accompany her to India and clear up the chaos created by her escape.

subramanyam accepts this proposal demanding a large amount. The couple lands in India and, to their surprise, the whole family misunderstands them as already married. what will subramanyam do now? Will he keep his money-centric nature aside and help seetha? that forms the rest of the story.

positive points:-

all credit must go entirely to director harish shankar. this man surely knows the pulse of the crowd and has infused masala entertainment throughout the film. whenever you think the movie is getting routine, it surprises you with some hilarious comedy episodes. maybe it will take another director a long time in the future to show dharam tej the way harish does in the movie.

From her looks to her dances, teju nails it with her performance. this mega hero is here to stay and will achieve star status with this movie. Teju puts his striking resemblance to his dudes Pawan Kalyan and Chiranjeevi to excellent use and impresses big time. he’s pretty good at fighting him and has an impressive screen presence.

regina is another great attraction of sfs. she oozes glamor and is a treat for all front pews. Subramanyam For Sale also clicks big due to its sizzling chemistry with Tej. the couple is inseparable and looks perfect on screen. after a long interval brahmanandam gets a meaty role and all his scenes with tej have gone well.

the surprise package of the comedy part is fish venkat. his funny phrases in English are a riot of laughter. Rao Ramesh, Naga Babu and Ajay do their respective roles well. the first half is youthful with colorful visuals, while the second half is full of family thrills and comedy. kota was hilarious in his cameo.

negative points:-

The story of the film is old and has nothing new to offer. things get predictable early on and a weak climax slows things down. additionally, certain double-entendre jokes and massive elements feel exaggerated and could have been toned down.

Experienced stars like Suman and Naga Babu don’t have much to do with the proceedings. the second half of the movie gets a bit off the rails at times and certain logics are lost big time.

technical aspects:-

dil raju should get the biggest credit for shooting this movie on such a large scale. all the locations chosen in the united states and the way they have been shot is exceptional. the dialogues are nervous and evoke good fun. Mickey J Meyer’s music is a big plus as all the songs are quite upbeat and have been shot splendidly as well. the script is also very impressive as some cleverly packaged scenes are placed in just the right areas.

going back to director harish shankar, he’s back with a bang. the man who stole the limelight by showing pawan kalyan in a new avatar does it again with his nephew. the way he introduces the next hero and infuses a series of entertaining episodes throughout the film will be enjoyed by one and all.

verdict:-

tollywood produces big budget commercial artists once every two weeks and half of them have the same story. But the clicking movies are narrated with hilarious entertainment and Subramanyam falls into this same category. sfs will be a turning point in sai dharam tej’s career and will put him in the big leagues. If you can ignore the routine and predictable plot, this movie will entertain you from the start and end as a Paisa Vasool animator.
